Introducing myself - V. Carlier

Hello,
My name is V. Carlier and I'm teaching English at ISJISC La Roche in Belgium. La Roche is a very beautiful town in the Belgian Ardennes. Many tourists visit it between April and October.
I hope this blog will work very good and I'll encourage my students to express themselves on it.

I have two brothers and one sister. My brothers are Kevin and Christopher . Kevin is 21 years and Christopher is 25 years old. My sister is Jennyfer, she is 28 years old. I haven't got any animal because my mother hates animals.

Hello everybody, I'm Laura and I'm your new pen-friend. I'm fourteen years old and I'm in the 4th year. I study Latin and sciences at school , I learn Dutch and English. I like languages but I hate Maths. 

I live in a very small village called Dochamps. I don't have brothers and sisters. My father is in the services and my mother works in a restaurant. 

I've got two dogs, one is old and one is young (Jack Russel). I like listening to music , I like music a lot (rock, pop, etc…). I like reading books. I like shopping and fashion. I like the nature too. I climb in a club.  I would like to become a lawyer. My best friend are Madyson and Thibaut.

    Hello everybody ! How are you ? I'm going to introduce myself. 

   

    My name's Thibaut Daulne and I'm 15 years old. I live in Lamormenil with my father one week out of two and the other week I'm by my mother's. My parents are divorced. My hobbies are playing on the computer, swimming, speaking and going out with my friends. My best friend is Laura and I've known her for 14 years. She's important for me and she's always there for me. She helps me when I have problems. Oh yes! I forget to speak about my family...

I've got one brother and his name's Thomas. He's 11 years old. He likes speaking (lol) and doing sports. He's a very excited  boy. My mother, Valérie, is 40 years old and she's a very pretty woman. She likes singing and reading. She's got a big bookcase and she reads special books. She likes fantastic books. She's a teacher religion in primary schools. Pascal is my father and he's 50 years old. He likes working in the policy thus he's involved in politics.

Hi!

I'm Sia, I'm 15 . I live in Grande-Mormont, a small village in the Belgian Ardennes. I have one sister and one brother, they're twins, they're 12. I have a dog, he's so lovely!

I have two passions, dancing and swimming, I've swum since I was 6 years old and I like that. And I also like dancing, I did a year of dance and aerobics one year. This picture was taken last year during our dance of "Falbalas".

I really like speaking differents languages, above all English! I would like to know many things about the United States!

Hello everyboby!

 I'm Louise, I'm 15 years old. I live in a small village with my sister and our parents. We've a little dog too. My mother is a nurse and my father is an electrician.  My village is lovely and clean but too quiet! There aren't shops, discos,... It's boring. I prefer the countryside because I don't like big cities it's too noisy and polluted! And the architecture in my village is a mixture of new and old houses.

I go to school in La Roche. I get up at 6 o'clock and I go to school by bus (two hours a day). It's very long! 

 My options are Sciences and Latin. I've a lot of work but I like biology, physics, chemistry and Latin. I've a lot of friends in my school. It's fantastic!

 My favourite activities are watching TV (soaps) and cooking cup cakes. But I'm not a sporty girl.

Hello, I'm Cécile. I'm 15 years old. I come from Manhay, Lamormenil. It's a very small village.

I haven't got any brothers and sisters. I have got a cat, a dog and a bird. My cat's name is Félix, my dog's name is Sibelle and my bird's name is Roméo :-D  I love animals.

My hobby is horse riding but I also like playing tennis.  

I like reading but it isn't my favourite activity.

My favourite books are "Hunger Games" and "Divergente".

My favourite time of year is Christmas because it's a magical time.

I love Italian food : pizza, pasta,... and I don't like mushrooms...

Hello! My name is Armelle and I'm 15 years old, I was born on February 17th. I have one sister, her name is Marissa, she's 18 years. I don't have any animals at home but I love dogs very much.

In my spare time, I love watching soaps, my favourite ones are "Teen wolf", "Pretty little liars", "Faking it", "Skins", "Do you know that?" . I also like going out with my friends.

On Mondays, I go to the "zumba" with my cousin and on Saturdays, I go to the "Patro", it's like the scouts. I've been there since I'm 4 years old.

Their names are Maud and Laurent. I have got two brothers.

I haven 't got a sister. I have got a cat. Its name is Clochette.

I like it very much. I have got a dog too. Its name is Tramontane.

Bonjour, je m'appelle Katy Hargett en anglais, mais en franҫais, mon nom est Baguette. J'ai 16 ans. Je viens d'Alabama, à Hoover. Hoover n'est pas loin de Birmingham, mais malheureusement je dois conduire 30-45 minutes pour arriver à mon école. Parfois, je dois conduire une ou deux heures pour rentrer à la maison. Je déteste ҫa.

J'étudie à l'Alabama School of Fine Arts où j'écris. J'étudie ici depuis cinq ans. J'écris beaucoup de poésie. J'aime lire aussi. En ce moment, je lis le livre "Disgrace" de J.M. Coetzee et "The Catcher in the Rye" de J.D. Salinger. Je vais lire un livre de James Franco bientôt que s'appelle "Palo Alto." Savez-vous que James Franco écrit? Je ne le savais pas. Il peint aussi. Je ne pense pas si je les aime.

J'ai une soeur et un frère. Ma soeur s'appelle "Gracie" et mon frère s'appelle "Will." Gracie a 15 ans et Will a 20 ans. Ma mère s'appelle Yu-ing et vient de Taiwan. Mon père vient d'ici.

Salut! mon nom est Starla , j'ai quinze ans et je suis en 10e année . Je vis à Chelsea en Alabama avec mes parents et mes deux frères.  C'est hors de la ville . Je vais à l'école des beaux-arts de l'Alabama pour la danse et je vais à cette école depuis la 7e année . Je danse tous les types de danse depuis l'âge de trois ans , mais quand je suis arrivée à l'ASFAj'ai commencé à me concentrer sur les types les plus classiques de la danse. The very first post !!!

Hello everybody !

How are you ?

We are your new friends from La Roche.  La Roche is a small town in the south of Belgium but maybe you don't know much about Belgium. It's such a small country...

Belgium is in Europe and its capital is Brussels. Brussels is considered the capital of the European Union. 

There are 200 students in our school.  How many students are there in your school ?

We are in the third form (third year after the primary school) but it's our first year of English.  We are beginners...

There are ten students in our English class.  How many pupils are there in your class ?

The youngest student is 13 and the oldest is 15.  There are 3 boys and 7 girls. 

Next week, we are going to introduce ourselves.
