Bonjour, ce week-end il y avait une marche des femmes à Birmingham qui était vraiment génial parce que l'Alabama est connu pour être moins progressiste. Ce fut vraiment amusant et rassurant après cette élection de voir tant de gens défendre les droits des femmes. La mere de ma meilleure amie est une artiste et elle a fait de très beaux signes. La marche m'a rendue fière d'être américaine et fière d'être une femme parce que tant de gens sont venus et ont défendu ce qu'ils croient. J'espère que la marche a montré au reste du monde que l'Amérique n'est pas pleine de fanatiques mais pleine de gens forts qui sont consternés par l'élection de notre nouveau president.

Je m’appelle Katherine.  J’ai 15 ans et j’ai un frère qui a 11 ans.  J'ai toujours vécu en Alabama mais je voyage beaucoup.  J'aime faire du shopping, la mode, et mes amis.  Quand je ne suis pas à l’école ou à l'étude, j'aime courir, la photographie, et l’équitation.  Ma mère est photographe, donc je vais sur des photoshoots avec elle.  Je fais du cheval depuis deux ans.  Je pratique principalement le saut et le dressage.  Je ne fais pas encore de compétition, mais je vais bientôt commencer.  J'aime la musique et l'art aussi.  J'aime explorer de nouveaux genres de musique et des styles d'art. Bonjour! Je m'appelle Rosalie, et j'ai seize ans. Je suis en onzième année et je vais à l'école des arts de l'Alabama. L'école commence à 7h. 55. Ma première classe est mon cours d'anglais. Nous lisons le livre Catcher in the Rye par J.D. Salinger. Ma deuxième classe est le cours d' histoire. Nous étudions les années 20. Ma troisième classe est le cours de chimie. Nous étudions les atomes. Le cours de français (troisième année) est ma quatrième classe. Nous lisons le livre Le Petit Prince par Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Ensuite nous dinons. J'étudie les maths l'après midi. Je danse le soir et je répète. J'aime l'école!

Je vais rendre visite à mon grand frère, Michael, à New York en avril. Il étudie l'art et va présenter sa dernière exposition. J'aime New York. Je suis contente de voir les grands bâtiments et la variété des cultures. J'aime la nourriture et les fêtes dans la ville.  Je suis surtout impatiente de voir mon frère. Je suis très stressée en ce moment. J'ai beaucoup de devoirs. Je voudrais parfois avoir du temps libre. Mardi, j'ai quitté l'école à 7 heures du soir. Je voudrais lire mon livre "Harry Potter." Ce livre me rend heureuse. Quand je vais aux répétitions pour notre spectacle qui est en février, je m'amuse aussi. Le sujet de la pièce sont les infirmières au Vietnam. J'ai un rôle principal et je suis très contente. J'espère pouvoir me détendre bientôt.

Je me réveille à 7:20 tous les jours. Je m'habille, je me maquille, et je mange le petit déjeuner. Mon l'école commence à 7:55. Après une longue journée d'école, je rentre chez moi à 4:40.  A la maison, je m'allonge sur mon lit et je me repose. Je dîne à 5 heures. Alors, je fais mes devoirs pendant 2 ou 3 heures. Je dors dans le dortoir de l'école et je parle à mes amies aussi. Je me couche vers minuit.

Une journée typique à l'école pour moi



Lors d'une journée scolaire typique​, je me réveille à six heures. Après m'etre douché, je mange des céréales au petit-déjeuner​. Je pars pour l'école à sept heures quinze​. Le trajet dure à peu près

vingt-cinq minutes, donc j'arrive à l'école à sept heures quarante. À l'école, j'étudie les mathématiques, l'anglais, le français, la chimie, l'histoire américaine et l'écriture créative​. L'école se termine à quatre heures quarante​. À cause de la circulation, je rentre chez moi à cinq heures et demie.

Après avoir lu les blogposts, je remarque qu' un grande nombre parmi vous aimez les montagnes russes. Est-ce que les parcs d'attraction en Belgique sont très bons? Je pense qu'il y a de bons parcs d'attraction ici, en Amérique, mais pas beaucoup en Alabama.

Je remarque aussi qu' un grande nombre de vous faites du sport. Ici, quelques sports populaires sont le football américain, le baseball, et le basketball. Beaucoup de gens font du sport, notamment dans le Sud. Est-ce que votre école a des equips de sport? Notre école n'en a pas.

C'est mon genre préféré. Ils sont très excitants! On pourrait penser qu' ils sont trop effrayants. Beaucoup de mes amis n'aiment pas les films d'horreur. Ils ne pensent pas qu'ils sont amusants. My favourite day is a Saturday. Why? Because I get up at 7 o'clock and I have breakfast in front of the television.
I often have a shower.  I always get dressed for the match.

A typical school day and a day of the weekend

Hello friends of Alabama ,

I'm Aloys I'm 12 years old.

On Wednesday I wake up at 7:30. I never have breakfast. I brush my teeth and I go to school at 8 o'clock. School starts 8:20.  At 10 o'clock we have a 15 minutes break. At 11:55 shool finishes, it's nice because we have all the afternoon to do our homework. In the evening I often  play  on the computer.On Saturday I wake up at 11 o'clock. I eat at 12 o'clock and I do my homework from 2 o'clock to 3:30. At 6 o'clock I  have dinner. And after dinner I usually play video games. At 10:30 I go to to bed.

Dear pen pal,

I like Wednesdays beacause I start with two periods of Dutch. Then I have study (two periods). In the study I do my homework and at noon I eat in La Roche. I'm at home at one o'clock. In the afternoon I hang around with my friends in the village.
